Jade Kruse is the 16 year-old daughter of Marshall & Julie Rhea of Oakley, KS.  She has two brothers.  Jade is currently a sophomore at Heartland Christian School in Colby KS.  Her school extra-curricular activities include volleyball, basketball, pep club, and drama.  Jade will complete her high school education and then plans to obtain a degree in an equine related field or train to become a veterinary technician.

Jade is a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, 4-H, Kansas High School Rodeo Association, Kansas Western Horseman’s Association, Oakley Range Riders, and the North Fork Riding Camp.   Jade has been involved with horses throughout her life.  She has been in 4-H since she was 7 years old.  Jade has previously held four rodeo queen titles, including:   2004 Thomas County Jr. Rodeo Princess, 2005 KWHA Jr. Queen, 2006 Thomas County Rodeo Princess, and 2008 Beef Empire Days Rodeo Princess.

Jade is excited to have earned the honor of representing the State of Kansas and rodeo as Miss Teen Rodeo Kansas 2010.  Jade extends a huge thank you to her parents and family, for always being there and helping with what needs to be done.  Thanks are also sent to those who have helped her achieve success in her rodeo queen journey. The kind words, encouragement and support have had a huge impact in pursuing her dreams.  A special thanks goes to the Miss Rodeo Kansas Pageant Board as this group is responsible for making it possible for a young Kansas girl to promote rodeo and the western way of life as Miss Teen Rodeo Kansas.
